My friend (who will be taking the board exam with me) just texted me some "reminders" on our board exam. I thought it would be "tips on passing" but no, they were superstitions that some of our previous colleagues might or might have not believed but it won't hurt to follow some.... Just in case....
Board exam was described to me as "your exam of a lifetime". Imagine studying for 6 years (9 years in my case, hehehe.) and this is the epitome of all your sacrifices and tears...and blood... This is it!
Superstitions during board exams (as texted by Dr. JC Bayan)
* Day 1: Bring something RED
* Day 2: Bring something GREEN (I won't have any problems with these, I love green.)
* Day 3: Bring something from BOTH COLORS
* Upon finishing your last subject: KICK the chair before passing your paper, get your things and go out of the room WITHOUT LOOKING BACK.
Others:
* Donate your things such as pencils, ballpens, erasers, sharpeners, etc. if there's a donation box.
* THREE DAYS BEFORE the exam, NO CUTTING of hairs and nails.
So I did a quick little research and found these:
* Some of my other colleagues have been scampering to buy RED UNDERWEAR (I need to find one), wear this during the exam.
* Eat The RED RIBBON EMPANADA
* Go to 9 CHURCHES
* Have the local priest BLESS YOUR PENCIL with holy water
* Do not listen to "leakage-leakage" questions the night before the board, it was meant to ruin your focus...and STUCK knowledge...
Good luck to all of us!
